Mobile Port Check-in Kiosk
The Mobile Port is a portable check-in solution designed to provide airports and airlines with a flexible and reliable alternative to traditional fixed systems. It enables passenger check-in operations in locations where installing permanent infrastructure is not feasible or where additional operational capacity is required.
Compact and lightweight, the Mobile Port weighs approximately 14 kilograms and is roughly the size of a carry-on suitcase. Its portable design allows airport staff to quickly deploy the system anywhere within the terminal, making it ideal for temporary check-in points, peak traffic periods, or contingency situations.
Despite its compact form factor, the Mobile Port functions as a fully integrated check-in workstation. The system includes an integrated mini computer, keyboard, mouse, passport reader and two printers. One printer is dedicated to boarding pass printing, while the other produces baggage tags, enabling the device to perform the complete passenger check-in process.
With Wi-Fi connectivity, the Mobile Port can seamlessly connect to airport systems and airline infrastructure, allowing it to operate as a fully functional check-in station. A single unit can process up to 400 passengers on one charge, providing reliable performance throughout operational shifts.
In recent years, operational resilience has become increasingly important for airports worldwide. System disruptions or infrastructure limitations can significantly impact passenger processing. The Mobile Port addresses these challenges by offering a rapidly deployable backup solution, ensuring that check-in operations can continue without interruption.
Today, the Mobile Port is already in use at several regional and smaller airports, where its mobility and efficiency provide a practical solution for flexible passenger handling.
